Bob Saget’s Daughter Shares Text She Received From Father Before Death

Daughter of legendary comedian Bob Saget shared the last text message she received from her father before his sudden death over the weekend at age 65.

Taking to her Instagram account on Sunday, 34-year-old Aubrey Saget posted a screenshot of her final text exchange with her dad, PEOPLE magazine reported. “Thank u. Love u. Showtime!” a message read from Saget, who was on his “I Don’t Do Negative” stand-up tour.

Aubrey’s Instagram account is currently set to private, meaning only those she’s accepted can view her posts.

The “Full House” star and popular stand-up was found unresponsive in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, reports say. Saget performed at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall the day before.

“Okay, I loved tonight’s show [Ponte Vedra Concert Hall] in Jacksonville. Really nice audience. Lots of positivity,” Saget captioned a post on his Instagram Saturday evening. “Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences. Thanks again to [Tim Wilkins] for opening. I had no idea I did a two hour set tonight.”

“I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it,” the comedian added. “A’ight, see you in two weeks … Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this s***. Peace out.”

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday evening posted to Twitter, “Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. #BobSaget.”

Saget’s cause of death remains unclear, but no foul play or drug use is suspected.

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the Saget family said in the statement, according to Fox News. “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”

“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world,” the family added.

“Full House” co-star and friend John Stamos on Sunday reacted, “I am broken. I am gutted.  I am in complete and utter shock.  I will never ever have another friend like him.  I love you so much Bobby.”

I don’t know what to say,” wrote “Full House” actress Candace Cameron Bure. “I have no words. Bob was one of the best humans beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.”

Cameron Burr played Saget’s on-screen eldest daughter, named D.J.
